At Epoxy Garage Solutions (“we,” “us,” “our”), we stand behind the quality of our work. Every epoxy floor installation includes a 5-Year Limited Warranty, with the option to extend coverage to a total of 10 years.

These Warranty Terms apply to both residential and commercial projects unless stated otherwise and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.

1. Standard 5-Year Limited Warranty (Included)

​

1.1 We warrant that our epoxy flooring system will be free from the following defects in materials or workmanship under normal use:

• Peeling or delamination

• Adhesion failure caused by installer error or product defect

1.2 The warranty period is 5 years from the date the project is completed, provided the project has been paid in full.

1.3 This warranty applies only when:

• The floor is used under normal residential or light commercial conditions

• Our care and maintenance instructions have been followed

• No unapproved coatings or modifications have been applied to the floor

2. Optional 10-Year Extended Warranty

2.1 For additional peace of mind, customers may extend coverage to a total of 10 years by paying 10% of the project’s total cost at the time of installation.

2.2 The extended warranty:

• Covers the same types of defects listed in Section 1

• Follows the same limitations and exclusions in these Warranty Terms

• Begins on the project completion date and runs for a total of 10 years (5 years included + 5-year extension)

3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover (Exclusions)

This warranty does not cover:

• Moisture or vapor-related issues, including hydrostatic pressure or moisture coming through the slab

• Cracks, movement, or structural defects in the concrete slab

• Damage caused by chemicals, oils, acids, salt, or other corrosive or staining substances

• Physical damage due to impact, heavy dragging, gouging, or misuse (jack stands, metal edges, etc.)

• Damage from abnormal loads beyond typical residential or light commercial use

• Cosmetic conditions, including:

  • Fading or yellowing due to UV exposure

  • Tire staining or hot-tire pickup

  • Minor surface wear over time

• Issues caused by using the floor before it has fully cured (driving/parking too early)

• Damage or failure resulting from not following our cleaning or maintenance guidelines

• Changes in appearance due to normal wear, dirt, or lack of cleaning

If moisture testing or concrete repairs were recommended before installation and were declined, any related failures are excluded from coverage.

4. Warranty Claim Process

​

If you believe you have a valid warranty claim:

1. Contact us within 30 days of noticing the issue.

2. Provide:

   • Your name and contact information

   • Service address

   • Approximate installation date

   • Photos and a description of the issue

3. We will schedule an inspection to evaluate the floor and determine the cause.

4. If we determine that the issue is covered under this warranty, we will, at our discretion:

   • Repair the affected area, or

   • Recoat the affected area, or

   • Take another reasonable corrective action

There is no charge for covered repair or recoating work.

5. Limitations of Liability

​

5.1 Warranty coverage is limited to the original amount paid for the project.

5.2 We are not liable for:

• Incidental, indirect, or consequential damages

• Loss of use of the garage or other spaces

• Costs related to moving or storing items from the garage

5.3 We reserve the right to determine whether repair, recoating, or partial refund (where allowed) is the appropriate response to a valid claim.

6. Transferability

​

This warranty is valid for the original customer and property where the floor was installed. It is not transferable to a new owner without our written consent.

If the property is sold, please contact us to discuss possible transfer options.
